OTTAWA GAME NOTES
- Major stat leaders
- Goals: Cassandra Provost – 11
- Assists: Soumaya Bouak – 4
- The Gee-Gees swept the Carleton Ravens last weekend, securing commanding 3-0 and 4-0 victories. Angelina Gendreau did the heavy lifting, being involved on five of the team's seven goals and earning Gee-Gees Athlete of the Week honours.
- Ottawa has now posted shutouts in four of their last five games. Goalkeepers Juliann Lacasse and Cassidy Joslin have been splitting time evenly this season.
- The program will partially shift their focus to the FISU Americas tournament in Mexico following this weekend. A portion of the athletes and staff will travel to Mexico, while the rest will remain in Ottawa to prepare for their final regular season game against RMC on Oct. 23.
ONTARIO TECH GAME NOTES
- Major stat leaders
- Goals: Brogyn Tracey – 4
- Assists: Brogyn Tracey – 1
- The Ridgebacks earned two results last weekend, drawing Laurentian and TMU. They outshot their opposition in both games.
- It's been tough sledding offensively for Ontario Tech this season, as they've failed to score since a 5-3 loss to Toronto on Sept. 18.
- Ontario Tech find themselves five points out of a playoff spot with four games to go. There is some hope for Audra Sherman's side, as two of those games are "six pointers" against teams they could realistically catch (Carleton and Nipissing), and they have a home date with winless RMC coming up.

LAURENTIAN GAME NOTES
- Major stat leaders
- Goals: Cass Armstrong – 1
- Assists: None
- The Voyageurs come to Ottawa with back-to-back results – a win against RMC and a scoreless draw to Ontario Tech.
- Laurentian have managed just one goal this season, which came on Sept. 25 against RMC. That was also the lone contest in which they outshot their opponents.
- The blue and gold could still technically make the playoffs, but they've got a tall task ahead. Three of their remaining six games come against the top three teams in the conference in Ottawa, Toronto, and Queen's.
WHAT THEY'RE SAYING
"Our games last weekend have given us a lot to build on. Going forward, we'll want to be able to reproduce some of the success we had against Carleton." – Gee-Gees head coach Steve Johnson
